before anything else check my links above to see my location and read my wonderful reviews.  This post is for you handymen or women that seem to be stumped on why your washing machine is not draining or spinning.  Now the easiest solution is to call an appliance repairman.  And the price could range from $100-$200 to fix your problem.  Now here is the fun part I can save you money.  If you know the problem before you call the appliance repair man he is likely going to service you at the $100 range because he knows you know the repair is simple.  Now lets make sure we are prepared to save money before we call.  Does the washing machine fill with water.  If the answer is yes lets continue.  Now will the top load washer spin? If the answer is no you are at the right place and you are reading the right blog.  Now is the washer smoking is the final question you should ask yourself. If it is no I have the simple solution for you.  It is either the LID SAFETY SWITCH or the MOTOR COUPLER.  Now call your local appliance repairman and tell him on the phone hey I would fix it my self but I'm short on time I know its either the lid safety switch or motor coupler.  Bam I just saved you $100 bucks have a great day and make sure to follow me for future tips.
